The Upper Egyptians Youth Theatre Festival has honored Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab in the opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of Upper Egyptians Youth Theatre Festival that is held in Aswan from 23rd – 28th April 2018. The art critic Mr. Haitham Al-Hawary –head of “S” Foundation for Culture and Creation and the festival chairman – declared that Prof. Ghallab’s honoring was a result of his vital role in boosting the cultural movement in Aswan and nurturing gifted artists. For his part, Aswan university president stressed that Aswan University is working on spreading culture, developing skills, adopting artistic and cultural talents and holding cultural forums to enhance students’ creation; at the end, he thanked the festival administration for the honoring.
