Today, University Leadership Selection Committee was held headed by Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab with the attendance of the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil, the counselor Mohammed Fawzy – Egyptian Council of State deputy head -, Dr. Mohammed Abd Al-Wahhab Nahoul – the professor at Assuit university-, Dr. Tharwat Abd Al-Aal – legal advisor – and the dean of the faculty of energy engineering Dr. Adel Zein.
Prof. Ghallab asserted that 14 leaders are chosen from the applicants of the different university sectors and hospitals, moreover, the applicants are evaluated under the standards of quality assurance and accreditation, he added that the university seeks to promote the insightful young leaders.
