The events of the conference of otorhinolaryngology department, faculty of medicine started today corresponding to 7th of February 2018. The conference is organized by the faculty of medicine, Aswan university under the patronage of the university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and Aswan governor Maj. Gen. Magdi Hegazi and headed by South valley university president Prof. Abd Al-Matein Mousa under the supervision of the chairman of otorhinolaryngology department Dr. Esaam Abu Al-Magd and the conference general rapporteur Dr. Abd Al-Rahman Al-Tahan. It will continue till 9th of February 7, 2018 in the presence of the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman, the vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil, the vice president of education and student’s affairs Prof. Hanan Abd Al-Moneam. The faculty of medicine vice dean of graduate studies Dr. Mohammed Zaki Al-Dahshory and the faculty of medicine vice dean of community service and environmental development Prof. Moustafa Al-Tereiy. Prof. Ghallab stressed on the significance of holding such conferences that serve Aswan university young physicians and that it is a great opportunity of experience exchange. Dr. Al-Tahhan added that several universities and institutes participate in the conference. It should be noted that the conference aims at highlighting the new in otorhinolaryngology surgery like, cochlear implant, throat head & neck surgery and otitis media surgery.
