Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President decided to discount 20% of the salaries of the academic staff and their assistants as a direction to Viva Egypt Fund for the irregular employees in response to the initiative that lunched by President/ Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi –President of the Republic to support Viva Egypt Fund for helping the irregular employees in the state.
The university president emphasized this initiative comes from the university as a commitment with its role of serving the community and consistent with the mission of the university as an effective governmental foundation in the light of these exceptional circumstances which the country passes it, and starts from May 2020 for three months. On the other side in the framework of the participation of Aswan University to enhance the affiliation and as an appreciation for the role of the martyrs of the armed forces.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President witnessed the inauguration name of the martyr/ Amr Farid Abdul Zaher, the martyr of the hand of the blackmail and the black terrorism on Sahari Governmonetal Languages School, the events also have been attended by Prof.Ayman Osman-Vice University President for the Graduate Studies and Researches, Brigadier/ Amr Abdul Fattah-Head of the Military Sector in Aswan, Brigadier/Alaa Rammah, Colonel/ Osama Khalil-Commander of the Border Guard in Aswan, Mr.Abdel Kareem Loutfy- Head of the Secondary Education in the Directorate of the Education and Mr.Gamal Hussein –Head of the Educational Administration.
Ghallab pointed out to the position of the martyr in defense of the homeland and fending off the black terrorism in order to keep the lands of the homeland and the safety of its citizens, he added we are in one trench against the enemies of the homeland. He also added Aswan University participates by preparing and equipping the new signboard and as a commemoration of the martyr/Amr Farid Abdul Zaher especially the martyr is the son of one of the deans of the faculties Prof. Farid Abdul Zaher-Dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom and it’s mentioned the martyr was martyred in one of the terrorist operations in December 2018.
