Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab has met the administrative body of Aswan International Women’s Film Festival that its 2nd edition is going to be held in 20th of February 2018 in the university headquarters at Sahary City to build cultural connectivity between the Festival and the university through the fields of training and technical workshops which are supposed to be held in Aswan university which are 5 workshops on the different fields of cinema ( script, direction, animation)
Prof. Ghallab stressed that the university is ready to provide means of transport and a meal during the festival period to trainees in addition to cultural and technical workshops to help students tracking the practical and theoretical parts of the training. Aswan university president added that the university participates in Halaiaeb and Shalateen convey that is going to introduce movies in the festival in cooperation with Aswan Cinema Festival and the general authority of cultural palaces that are managed by Dr. Ahmed Awwad in addition to providing daily transportation for the university students to the festival. It should be noted that about 250 young persons have applied for the technical workshops. In a related context, the festival administration is working on accommodating the largest number of trainees. The columnist Mr. Hassan Abu Al-Ela – the festival manager – expressed his surprise by the enthusiasm and the quick implementation that followed their meeting with Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, he said that if every official works in the way of Prof. Ghallab, we will shortly achieve administrative and social reformation.
