Aswan university acting president Prof. Ayman Othman declared that in light of the consecutive successes of our deep-rooted university in different levels especially international ranking. Aswan university is pleased that its scientists joined the list of top 2% scientists over the globe according to the latest edition (3rd edition October 2021) of the study issued by “Elsevier” in cooperation with Stanford University, a study that contains the biggest databases ever including a list of top 2% scientists around the world in 22 main major and 176 minor fields.
He added that the 5 top scientists are:
- Prof. Mohammed Nageeb Rashed, faculty of science – field of environmental sciences
- Prof. Ahmed Mohammed Rashad, faculty of science – field of mechanical engineering and transport
- Prof. Mohammed Abd Al Aziz Mohalel Oraby, faculty of engineering – electric and electronic engineering
- Prof. Mohammed Fathy Al Ameen, faculty of science – field of mechanical engineering and transport
- Dr. Salah Mohammed Kamel, faculty of engineering – field of energy
Prof. Mohammed Abd Al Aziz Mohalel Oraby, the manager of Aswan university’s international ranking office, said that the study gains its significance from depending on SCOPUS database and analyzing it by unified and standard algorithms and measurements to reach accurate and trusted results including citations, h_index, hm_infdex, and others.
