Aswan university president Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman witnessed Aswan Governorate’s National Day Celebration. The event was held under the patronage of Aswan governor Maj. Gen. Ashraf Atteya in the presence of a number of former governors and a number of public, security, military, executive, parliamentary, university and popular figures.
Prof. Ayman Othman valued the development work that the governorate is witnessing and the initiative to restore Aswan visual identity, in which the university participates. This is an unprecedented achievement as a part of the governorate’s celebration of its National Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the opening of High Dam in January 1971; the greatest project in the twentieth century and one of the most important components in development, agriculture and industry and in the boom that Egypt witnessed recently. The celebration included lightening the celebration flame followed by artistic shows embodied Aswan people identity who is pleased with the president’s recent visits.
Aswan University President congratulated Maj. Gen. Ashraf Atteya, executive, security and popular leaders and Aswan people on the occasion of Aswan National Day and all, wishing ongoing progress and prosperity.
