A new international ranking is added to Aswan University that achieved several scientific, academic, and research citations internationally. Prof.Ahmed Ghallab stated that Aswan University has achieved the 1st rank on the level of Egyptian Universities; according to the British Times classification of the Higher Education internationally for the 2020 year that includes nearly 1400 universities in 92 countries, and got the first rank in the citations of the largest and most diverse universities until now. The schedule depends on 13 performed indicators that have been carefully standardized throughout measuring the performance of the institution by teaching, searching, transporting knowledge, and international expectations.
The university is ranked by a complex of professional services Pricewaterhouse Coopers, that’s trusted all over the world by students, educators, governments, and industry’s experts; the league table for this year provides a piercing look about the balance of the changing power for the International Higher Education that includes the modern methodology of the rankings of the global universities for the 2020 year as the fourth-year in a row.

Oxford University ranked first internationally, but Cambridge University slipped down to third place. Aswan University ranked from 401 to 500 and is considered the first at the level of the Egyptian Universities. This comes as the harvest and fruits of the efforts of the university’s administration over the past years in the different research, educational, academic, construction sectors and fields and the extent of the university’s relationship with the surrounding environment and its social effect.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President said lately Aswan University get the first rank among the emerging Egyptian Universities that less than 50 years, throughout 2020 classification and inserting Aswan University in the place 101-105 globally ranked the first rank among the emerging Egyptian Universities that less than 50 years, he pointed out Aswan University obtained several of scientific and academic titles among the global universities, this comes as crowning for social, scientific, environmental, and research efforts that have been carried out by Aswan University until became a scientific and research edifice in Southern Egypt, while its faculties have reached to 20 faculties and Institute of African Studies and Nile Basin Countries.
