Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan university president, stated that the virtual employment forum UCCD EXPO 2021, which was co-organized by the university centers for career development and which was co-organized by the university center for career development at Aswan University, was chosen as best Multi-Employer Job Fair for 2021, as part of the first Eventeer Awards Ceremony by vFairs, the leading company in the field of virtual events in the world.
For his part, His Excellency added that the university is proud of this forum which the university participated in organizing it through its center in cooperation with partner universities as a part of of our constant endeavor to serve students and graduates and find excellent job and training opportunities for them.
The 2nd Virtual Forum for Employment UCCD Career Expo, which was held on March 22, 2021, is the second employment forum for university centers for professional development within the activities of the first virtual employment platform for the year 2021 under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, minister of higher education and scientific research, in cooperation with 9 Egyptian governmental universities that allow business owners to offer job, training opportunities and provide students with the opportunity to communicate permanently with companies and business owners, submit CVs, personal interviews, as well as attend many events and seminars regarding career guidance.
Dr. Ayman Othman explained that the third virtual forum for employment 2022-UCCD March Career Expo2022 will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, and will host more than 6000 students and more than 50 business owners.
The award is the culmination of the great cooperation between university centers for professional development in Egyptian universities and partnership with employers and sponsors, with the support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the technical support of the American University in Cairo, and vFairs.”
Eventeer Awards, a virtual awards ceremony celebrating the best in virtual and hybrid events. The importance of this success lies in that all the 200 nominations were all open to public voting and competed for 6000 votes. Those that got the most votes emerged as winners in their category, at the ceremony held on February 15, 2022, the first time that vFairs hosted the Eventeer Awards.
