Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab has signed a cooperation agreement with his Spanish counterpart Prof.Josep Anton Ferré , the president of Universidad Rovira i Virgili that lies in Tarragona city in the north of Spain, in the presence of the Spanish university vice president of international relationships Mar Gutiérrez-Colón Plana, Aswan university vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman as well as the chairman of Spanish department in the faculty of Al-Alsun, Aswan university and the representative of Aswan university in the Spanish universities Dr. Hazem Al-Gamal. Prof. Ghallab declared that the agreement includes cooperation between the two universities in launching a scientific journal for publishing the scientific research in English, organizing joint scientific conferences, student exchange in (bachelor, alumni studies. master and PhD.) stages in addition to academic staff exchange. He stressed that Aswan University has got a scholarship in the field of engineering, Prof. Ghallab confirmed that Aswan University seeks to twine with Universidad Rovira i Virgili at the beginning of the academic year 2018/2019.
