Today, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab has opened the international conference which is organized by the faculty of engineering in cooperation with National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority under the title” The International Conference on Innovative Trends in Computer Engineering”, it sponsored by:

Prof. Ghallab declared that Aswan university is keen on hosting the educational and touristic conferences and that the International Conference on Innovative Trends in Computer Engineering will include the papers that will be disseminated from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), he added that the conference provides a forum to exchange experiences and promote new trends in the fields of computer engineering, it is considered the first of its kind in Upper Egypt and the first to be organized by the faculty of engineering, Aswan university. The conference is held on 19th – 21st Feb. 2018 directly after the phenomenon of Solar Alignment in Abu Simbel on 22nd of Feb. In the same context, the conference in its first version has received more than 90 papers from 220 researchers among whom 45 foreigners. it is attended by the vice president of community service and environmental development Prof. Ahmed Sayed Khalil, the vice president of education and student’s affairs Prof. Hanan Abd Al-Moneam, the faculties deans and the students of the faculties of engineering and energy engineering. In a related context, the conference organizers have granted Aswan university president prof. Ahmed Ghallab and the vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman the Conference Shield.
