The Environmental Affairs and Community Service Sector reflects the role of the University in community service and environmental development. The sector supervises centers and units of a special nature ,and the university facilities the provided services to the community and the surrounding environment.
The sector also holds seminars and conferences that work to raise the environmental culture, and the sector organizes service convoys (medical convoys, veterinary convoys, awareness campaigns, …) for direct interaction with the surrounding community.
Preparation and implementation of training programs for members of the community to use modern technical and scientific methods and education and raise their production efficiency in various fields.
Prepare and organize conferences, seminars, workshops and dialogue tables related to community service and environmental development in partnership with external bodies and coordination with the public administrations at the university.
Develop a time plan for integrated convoys throughout the year and follow up their implementation and work to avoid deficiencies and implementation problems.
Developing executive plans and policies approved by the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development in the various training fields held at the University for community service.
