{"id":2107,"date":"2021-12-05T10:27:28","date_gmt":"2021-12-05T10:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arc.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?post_type=news&#038;p=2107"},"modified":"2021-12-09T10:28:29","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T10:28:29","slug":"presidential-decree-on-appointing-prof-ayman-othman-as-aswan-university-president","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/arc.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/news\/presidential-decree-on-appointing-prof-ayman-othman-as-aswan-university-president\/","title":{"rendered":"Presidential Decree on Appointing Prof. Ayman Othman as Aswan University President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0President of the Republic\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi<\/strong>\u00a0issued a decree on appointing\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman Abu Zeid<\/strong>\u00a0as Aswan university president till reaching pensionable age.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0It should be noted that in a previous time\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar<\/strong>, minister of higher education and scientific research, announced that Prof. Ayman Othman will continue as the acting president till selecting a university president.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0 For his part,\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Ayman Othman<\/strong>\u00a0expressed thanks and appreciation for\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">President Sisi<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar<\/strong>\u00a0for restoring confidence by appointing him as Aswan university president.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Ayman Othman<\/strong>\u00a0was appointed as Aswan university vice president for graduate studies and scientific research for 4 years based on a ministerial decree issued on 28<sup data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2021 for 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">\u00a0\u00a0<strong data-uw-styling-context=\"true\">Prof. Othman<\/strong>\u00a0held several administrative and leading positions in Aswan university starting from chairman of civil engineering department in the faculty of engineering, next the vice dean of graduate studies and research, then the faculty dean for 2 consecutive terms from 2011 to 2017, then Aswan university vice president of graduate studies and research, last the acting university president and finally the university president till reaching pensionable age.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0President of the Republic\u00a0Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi\u00a0issued a decree on appointing\u00a0Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman Abu Zeid\u00a0as Aswan&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":2108,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","tags":[],"news-category":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.5 -
